PRX-T33 is a medical-grade chemical peel that can rejuvenate your skin without actually causing it to peel. The main ingredient in this innovative peel is trichloroacetic acid (TCA), which is a non-toxic chemical that dries out the top layer of skin to help reveal the tighter, younger skin beneath it. Unlike previous TCA peels, the PRX-T33 doesn’t exfoliate the skin. This makes it gentler and prevents bothersome peeling and flakiness while still being as effective.

Hydrogen peroxide acts as an antiseptic that kills or stops the growth of microbes on the skin. This helps cleanse the skin and keep it free of bacteria.
This ingredient in the PRX-T33 chemical peel is also anti-inflammatory and kills acne-causing bacteria. It cleanses the skin and removes dirt, oil and makeup residue. In addition, trichloroacetic acid stimulates the skin to produce collagen, which has an anti-aging effect by increasing the elasticity of the skin. The result is firmer, smoother, clearer skin.
These three ingredients penetrate the upper skin layer (epidermal layer) and deep down to the basal layer to promote cellular regeneration and remove damaged skin without harming the outer skin layer.
First, your skin is cleansed to remove any dirt, makeup and oil. The PRX-T33 biorevitalization formula is then massaged into your skin with firm upward pressure until it is thoroughly absorbed. Depending on your goals, two to five applications will be completed until skin tightening is noticeable. Once that’s done, we wash and dry your face again and apply a nourishing moisturizer to protect and hydrate your skin.
The entire treatment process takes approximately 30 minutes.
We recommend a series of three or four PRX-T33 treatments for most patients, spaced one to two weeks apart each, for the best skin rejuvenation results.
If you have mild skin laxity and sun damage, two or three sessions may be adequate. Those with severe signs of aging and pigmentation concerns may need four to six treatments to achieve ideal results.
After your treatment, you will notice results in the form of improved skin radiance, firmness and hydration right away. Your full results will become visible after your final treatment session.
A single treatment may provide results for three to four weeks. After the last treatment session in your series, your resulting smoother skin and more even complexion will last for about six to 12 months.
To prolong the results of PRX-T33, many patients schedule maintenance treatments every six months to one year.
